Let’s start with the top. The Scrub Runner Upper is 100% recycled polyester. A breathable fabric made to keep your feet dry and blister-free.

The Shifts Spill Shield is a spill-resistant layer to keep your feet protected from the unexpected.

Your feet will be treated to sinking into our super comfortable OrthoLite® insoles and super light EVA foam midsoles to give you the support, stability and comfort you need for 14-hour shifts.

Scrub Runners also feature high grip rubber outsoles for maximum slip resitance on the ward.

Our recycled materials are sourced sustainably to ensure we meet the Global Recycling Standard.

The Shifts Spill Shield means that your Scrub Runners feature a lightly water resistant coating. While they won’t keep your socks dry walking through a puddle, you’ll get protection from the worst of spills at work. And the best part? If they get dirty, you can throw them in the washing machine or rinse them under the tap!

The upper layer of Scrub Runners are designed to repel fluids, and have them roll right off the surface of the shoe. But it is not stain-proof and if spilled/leaked staining agents are not cleaned immediately from the upper, they have the potential to set into the mesh material. Some stains will come out with a cold/delicate machine wash. To be safe, make sure to wipe any spillage off your Shifts as quickly as possible using a wipe!

Yes, our custom-made rubber sole and tread pattern are designed to keep you on your feet at all costs.

Scrub Runners already come with OrthoLite's included to offer you maximum support and comfort, but should you wish to switch out the insoles for something of your choice - go for it!

Messy day? No problem! To preserve the water-repellent layer, we recommend washing by hand. For a deep clean, simply remove your insoles & laces and throw them in the washing machine (gentle, cold, in a linen bag). Wash your insoles by hand, and leave everything to air dry (never tumble dry).

Our shoes are designed and developed in Berlin, Germany. They are manufactured by our state of the art factory partner in China, but shipped to you directly from Germany.

All orders over €70 have free shipping included. For Express shipping pricing varies depending on where you are in the world. Enter your address on the checkout page to see the costs to send to you.

Our products are shipped EU-wide from our facility in Germany.

Orders placed before 1200 CET are usually packaged and ready for shipping on the same day.

However delivery times may vary especially in the "new normal":

Our speedy team begins packing your order as soon as we receive it so updates are not usually possible. So please double check your order and address while checking out!

VAT and custom duties are included in the price for shoppers in the EU.

Need to return your Shifts? Night or day, we've got you covered.

You can return unused (original condition) items to us for free within 30 days 🙌

Once we receive your item in original condition, you’ll get a full refund minus any original shipping costs paid (if any).

Remember, your items must be in their original condition - that means your shoes test-run should be at home, not outside or at work! 🏡

For socks, packaging must be unopened in order to return.

With our returns portal you'll get a free return label and your Shifts will be ready to return home!

Simply follow the instructions below 👇

1. Place the items (in original condition as per our return policy) in their original shoebox

2. Re-seal the shoebox with the second adhesive strip

3. Visit our returns portal HERE with your order number (starting with “#”) and your email

4. Print out and stick the pre-paid shipping label from the portal onto the box

5. Drop the package off at a nearby service point (within the next 30 days). Check the courier on your return label to find the nearest drop-off point.

Once we receive your return in its original condition, we'll process your refund 🙌

If you'd like to exchange for another product, simply follow the return process to claim your refund, and place a new order via our store as soon as you're ready.

This way there's no need to wait for your return to be processed - your items will be sent the next day! 🏃‍♀️💨

You’ll get a tracking link when your new order is ready to ship!

Refunds are credited directly back to the payment method you used to order. We’ll submit the refund within 24 hours of receiving your Shifts, but it may take up to 10 days to appear in your account.
